Alanta Police Chase
How do I find cases that involve an illegal search & seizure while the person was in a parked car? ?
I need to find cases that involve a person being in a parked car and being unreasonably searched ("pat down" and car search). The officer conducting the search found an ounce of marijuana and arrested the person. The defendant is claiming that he was racially targeted and that his 4th Amendment right was violated. Does anyone have any case names that are similar/ I tried searching FindLaw.com, but came up with nothing. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Police Polygraph ?
I am going to be taking a police polygraph test in august of next year for the police academy, i am also A.D.D. My question is, would my A.D.D meds throw off the Polygraph due to my meds, lower my blood pulse to a settle.
Police interview?
I have an interview with a police department next week and I know they will ask for examples of my integrity. I cant think of any exact examples that show this about myself, however I feel I represent good integrity on a daily basis through my family relationships, friendships and my general actions. I am NOT asking for any specific examples that I can tell the interview panel, but is this an ok answer I could state to them?
I dont steal or intentionally hurt people and I am alwyas trying to do the right thing in relation to the law and my own morals.
Why is it that people think Glock is a police weapon?
Every time I hear someone talking about guns, who does not have a good working knowledge of guns, they talk about the "Glock" as being a Law Enforcement only weapon. Glock is a manufacturer of an inexpensive hand gun. There are no external safeties on a Glock, and sales are common place to individuals. It is not a police only weapon, but rather a simple to use everyday firearm. It seems to me that television, movies, and the media (news) have caused this mis-information to spread. That’s my opinion.
What do you think?
I am not disputing a lot of departments use Glock. I know of the working mechanisms inside the Glock. I am not bad-mouthing the Glock, I own one. I am refering to the number of posts on YA where people call Glocks "Police Issue" when in reality they can be bought at any gun shop. Sorry for any confusion in the question.

How do you think ninjitsu would fare in the modern world?
I mean ninjitsu has alot of weapons and stealth in it, but stealth doesn’t help to much in todays modern world, and you’d probably be arrested for carrying a sword or shurikin in public. Not to mention that their H2H techniques don’t seem to great. I mean, even in the human weapon episode, the 13 and 15 dan black belts in ninjitsu didn’t do a stand out job (and 1 of them lost).

In pursuit of a suspect, can a police officer seize a private vehicle?
You see it on TV all the time, a cop chases a guy who’s getting away in a car, so he runs into the middle of the street and pulls someone else out of the car and drives off with it. Is there any legal justification for this? As a law student, I’ve heard nothing. What legal justification allows a police officer to commandeer a car? The hot pursuit doctrine allows entry into a private home but it doesn’t allow for a commandeering of a vehicle. Has anyone else heard of this happening and knows the legal area surrounding it?
Thanks!
